The fastest consumer speed through Time Warner is a disgusting 10mbs with "power boost" which brings it up to 22mbs for half a second. Japan for example is 100mbs a second ! 10 VS. 100! How fast does your CPU/GPU need to be, how much memory do you need to do "normal everyday websurfing". How fast do you need your tower/laptop to be to go on facebook and youtube for example? This computer I am on is from 2007 and works PERFECT for everything I do online still. Maybe a newer one with a nice Intel Core i7 with 24 gigs of ram and a 2.0GB GDDR5 video card will be nice, but web loads the same.
