I will ask "Can a mutation add a base pair to a genome?" They say "Yes." I say, "can a mutation add three base pairs to a genome?" They say "yes." I say, "well since you only need three base pairs to make a protein, can a mutation create a new protein?" They say, "No, that would require intelligence." FACEPALM!
