It's been the last major stronghold of Gaddafi's supporters for the past two months. Reporters in Sirte have so far been unable to confirm Gaddafi's capture, or even that the town has fallen to interim forces. May 4, 2012 - It pathetic how the Rebels ended up. They replaced one dictator for an government that's ten times worse. My hopes for them was crushed when the leader declare the new government style(I can't remember what it was called) But the Rebels fought and dead for nothing. Gaddafi you may RIP. You held out too the last and that is a true leader who never left his people regardless on where they stand.

Apr 12, 2012 - Do you know why Serbian people support Gaddafi? Here's why:The same Gaddafi sent us oil while we were under sanctions. That Gaddafi did not recognize Kosovo's independence and he first stud up and rebelled. That Gaddafi after the bombing of '99 was sending us money for the recover of our state. That Gaddafi was employing our people when they had nothing to eat. That Gaddafi was fighting against people who have destroyed our childhood. That's why we are with him! RIP Gaddafi <3

Apr 11, 2012 - This is nauseatingly painful to watch due to it's overindulgence in propaganda. It was by no means a "peoples revolution". The only revolution that took place in Libya was that Western forces got their imperialist mitts on Libya's economy and natural resources, the latter would be carved up and handed out to Western TNC's. Orthodox Western foreign policy. If country X wants to pursue a different economic path and not help Western hegemony, they are met with the wrath of Western military action.
