May 12, 2012 - Let's clear some things up here. 2 ways to play this game as a pro. Tournament or Marathon. In a tournament game the difficulty is set at 5. You get five men to start, NO FREE MEN are awarded. Try it, It's tough. In a marathon game you just play normal until you drop, difficulty level 5. Some guy played for like 3 days strait and got over 250 million. Everything here is true and thanks for all your comments. But I also need to tell all of you. I am the best at this game! Tony.

May 12, 2012 - Thank you! you are the first person to talk some sense that I can relate to. Robotron only goes up to 9,999,999. Ive rolled it over the same way and had to do it all over again to make all of those hours count for something. After that I rolled it over just to show other people that I ended my own game because it starts over from zero!

May 12, 2012 - I am the Elite All Time Greatest on this machine. It took hours to flip. you need to score a perfect 9,999,999 to become one of the Elite Robotron Greatest Heroes. I was pissed when I first flipped the game(auto starts from zero again). I had to do it all over again and this is on one quarter (25 cents) play. Unlimited free men oh, I was bananas with it. I had so many men that, I was able to take a lunch break while the game played itself or I let one of the younger kids get practice.

Jun 25, 2011 - I played this for about 8 hours straight, flipped it over at 1,000,000 (back to zero and quit shortly thereafter). Is the World Record really only 965,000? I find that hard to believe. Does anyone know the World Record for this game?

Dec 7, 2010 - The machine I grew up on was set at 10. You are correct, there is a huge difference between 5 and 10. My personal best D10 is around 550,000 and I've been playing this game for a very long time. D5 I can go forever.

Oct 8, 2010 - I remember first seeing it after playing Berserk for a while. It really made Berserk look like a joke. I don't think I ever played Berserk again after discovering Robotron. Definately a classic.

Jun 8, 2010 - love ROBOTRON, my fave arcade game ever. I was never exceptionally good it at though, A fair few people seem to be able to master this game, the guy in this vid is one them. If you can get 1,000,000 in Robotron, then you can probably play this game indefinitely, This game is awesome but it drives me nuts that I can't even come close to playing this well.
