Aug 22, 2011 - Device Manager. If It shows an Exclamation point and It's saying a generic name like "Standard VGA Adapter" or something similar, then most likely, you need a driver. Basically, you just have to download them from the manufacturer's website. If you don't know how to identify the driver, download CPU-Z and search the chipset and motherboard model and input it in Google.

infinitypark003 Says:
Dec 7, 2010 - Then your video card wasn't detected properly. Usually if a driver wasn't found, it would use a generic driver. Although, it can be a pain to find a integrated video card

infinitypark003 Says:
Nov 15, 2010 - Well, you don't need to uninstall the old one and install the new one. Just launch the setup and it will update your driver. You can try uninstalling the old one and install the new one to see if it works
beqarezo Says:
Nov 15, 2010 - yep i tried 3 monitors and three different computers and same thing happening all the time so i think i should uninstall all nvidia drivers before install a newer version, it might work, I'm not sure though
