Feb 14, 2012 - China is the global capital of sweat shops. This is how the country's economic power is built and who do business there doesn't know that? These poor laborers are living robots that live to work and they don't complain about it. Longer working hours, less pay, factory dorm condition, no life except work, It's a labor farm and that's how you built result. That's why you do business there, for result, cheap labors and bottom line. That's how you get things cheap.
Feb 13, 2012 - I see what you mean, but they are only small businesses and plus they probably rely on this kind of low cost labour work for business. The publicity is bad because they have let this slip, and this will have an impression on all of their goods. I doubt Apple would be able to save the day by securing all Foxcon/labour industries and workers living happily ever after
Feb 13, 2012 - might as well make that a con for every other computer company too. Apple is only one of the companies that relies on factories like foxconn to make their hardware.
Feb 13, 2012 - I don't own an iPhone. I have an android. It's funny that mention Rolex, there prices are super high, Plus i wouldn't buy a Rolex if my life depend on it. I was just saying that since apple isn't the only company that makes there products there shouldn't be the only ones to given free publicity. Think about yeah its bad publicity but in the end apple will look like the winners because they were the only ones to do anything. see what i mean? These other companies should do something.
Feb 13, 2012 - Yes but they're the only reputable company who make their products at Foxcon and sell their products for rip off prices. Brb while I go and buy my genuine Rolex that is made in China. Not acceptable because it is an iPhone, it should've been made in heaven
Feb 13, 2012 - This is bull... Apple shouldn't be the only ones trying to Fix Foxcon... They're not the only company making there products at Foxcon...
Feb 13, 2012 - hypocritical decadent bastards, moaning about "unhuman condition in foxconn"... where the f*k have you been for the last 40+ years? Why not protest about unhuman condition in factories around Asia, where all of your cloth, car parts, your computer PSUs etc... are made for few bucks a day? Why don't you all disagree to buy a t-shirt for a $2? insist to pay $20+ for "made in USA"! hipocrisy, hipocrisy,hipocrisy...
