Mar 29, 2012 - Did you build that RIMS tube yourself? I am looking for a good kit or instructions for a good one, that or just buy one. Any advice would be a huge help.
Mar 2, 2012 - Here you go man:
Auber SYL-2452 PID Auber Instruments 1 ea
25A Solid State Relay Auber Instruments 1 ea
Heat Sink for 25A SSR Auber Instruments 1 ea
4" x 1/4" NPT Watertight RTD Auber Instruments 1 ea
Feb 29, 2012 - hey, are you stlbeer on homebrewtalk? I recognize that ammo box controller =) I think you were building yours at the same time I was "researching" my build on the forum. Anyways, Looks good.
Feb 23, 2012 - As it stands I really like the system. SO far Ive hit all my mash temps perfectly. Now I just need to brew more to get into a rhythm with it. Maybe while im brewing ill make a MLV
Feb 23, 2012 - It recirculates the mash/sparge. basically from the time you put the grain an water together its recirculating it. SO after the 60 mins you pull off to the kettle and then add your sparge water and recirculate for 15 mins and batch off. I may try a decoction but not 100% commited to it yet haha
