May 6, 2012 - Not everyone even middle class can afford healthcare. It should be a choice whether people get it or not.
lovebigboobs29 Says:
May 6, 2012 - How the hell is 39k decent starting wage?
lovebigboobs29 Says:
May 6, 2012 - I would value a paycheck more then being a teacher. Teaching doesn't pay the bills or lets you live a comfortable lifestyle unless you get paid well.
lovebigboobs29 Says:
May 6, 2012 - LOL The bible is so retarded. I would love to be a millionaire.
lovebigboobs29 Says:
May 6, 2012 - Jesus is fictional. Why would anyone want to follow someone made up?
1337wafflezz Says:
May 6, 2012 - I've never heard one actual Christian say that. You are making s**t up, and a lot of Christians despise bankers. Why do you think USURY used to be a crime huh?

Apr 29, 2012 - I guess god is a communist.

ASwiftHippie Says:
Apr 1, 2012 - Boom. Here I am... was. Not religious in the slightest bit any more, but I can say that while I was a Christian I really was devoted to it. The part of the bible that Christians never follow is the Old Testament. Many Christians follow the words of Jesus, but you'd have a hard time finding a Christian willing to do the fucked up shit the Old Testament tells you to do lol.

Mar 26, 2012 - Look, I live here and as much as we make fun of Alabama too, take note, the important thing in this case is not the "AL", but the (R). Also, in the same speech Shaddy said this about teachers, he said Senators should get MORE pay so they don't become corrupt and take bribes. Honestly, I don't know why that's not getting any attention.
deenman23 Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - oh?what exactly dont u see them doing?like at all
MrTwoCrows Says:
Mar 22, 2012 - that's real. ..
BreakerInc Says:
Mar 20, 2012 - The rich religious people, I would guess, prefer to ignore that part of the bible. Not that that's rare behavior or anything, but even if they know the bible by heart, the uber rich (And I mean the ones who get rich by screwing others over on a massive scale, not just plain rich, those that worked for it, etc.), probably are only focused on this life, whatever their beliefs may be. Otherwise, could they really manage to do what they do?
masluxx Says:
Mar 19, 2012 - and agian the selfcentered use the bible for justifacation...it is a story as old as the bible
patrickmcghee Says:
Mar 9, 2012 - Possibly due to location, but as a starting teacher I only make 29 thousand.
TheSkunkCat Says:
Mar 7, 2012 - Actually according to the bible, RICH people go to hell. (Luke 6:24, Luke 16:19-25, Mark 10:23-25, Matthew 19:23-24 and James 5:1) According to the bible, rich people burn. End of story. One of those parts of the bible I like actually, though I am an atheist. Although I could see how the religious want no good teachers. Good teachers tend to make people RATIONAL. And rationality is anathema to religion.
demonsaintdante Says:
Mar 6, 2012 - It might be the location. But damn, I would love a job for 39 thousand a year 0_o...
glasfurd31 Says:
Mar 5, 2012 - I generally start dismissing these stories when they start ... "In the state of Alabama ..."
VerboseMinimalist Says:
Mar 4, 2012 - If this was how Republicans determined their economic policy positions, then it would make a lot more sense. "Because God says so," is way more transparently ignorant, but at least more sincere and believable than "Market failures don't exist." Still, this is the craziest shit I've ever heard.
leungchaan Says:
Mar 2, 2012 - Yeah, surprisingly, this is exactly the argument of conservatives, when they come to the defense of the ridiculously high salaries of bankers, managers, politicians, ceos etc... But hey, God's ways are mysterious.
civwarfan Says:
Mar 1, 2012 - I thought this "God" of theirs was against everyone and everything. So no big shocker here.
crispybluu Says:
Feb 29, 2012 - No argument there! I generally only believe half of what any politician says anyhow...since they're all self serving, yet none seem ready to admit this in public.
jsgdk Says:
Feb 29, 2012 - New Testament > Old testament .. If your more into eye for an eye and greed then your into forgiveness and charity then I think you are a poor Christian.. imho there is no such thing as an "Old testament Christian". Most "Christians" in politics just wear it like some kinda badge but they could care less about the teachings of Jesus.
