Apr 22, 2012 - This software is very unreliable, especially on any laptops using Windows 7. It makes the back up with no problems but when you try to recover that back up you are given an 'ERROR' message even though you were prompted the 'back up' was fine. The 2010 version is the best of the lot but only on 'tower' computers not on 'laptops'.

Apr 22, 2012 - Ive bee checking out acronis, i like the features of what it can do (recover drivers, entire files, etc etc) do you know anything else which is more reputable? im using 2010, to me its better than 2011 and 2012 but i question its integrity.

Mar 25, 2012 - Crappy recovery software, it's all very well backing up your computer system but Acronis has big problems when trying to boot up after recovery has been executed, you only have to go to the Acronis forum to witness the problems with their software.

Jan 21, 2012 - Read the reviews for this scam software on CNET. Pure garbage and has been ever since they shipped development to India three years ago.

Oct 10, 2011 - I had the same problem with Acronis. I gave up, uninstalled Acronis and replaced it with Macrium Reflect which works perfectly.

Oct 1, 2011 - I liked 2009 and almost didn't look at 2011because of undecypherable reviews/reader comments (I couldn't tell if it was a train wreck or not). So I tried it and was amazed (everything's easy if you know how). I was also amazed at what Acronis was working on (haven't looked at 2012). I wonder if they'll get sued by the powers that be if they can get it to work. I can't believe they have the nerve to try. So what part of the puzzle am I missin . . . hmm?
