In reality, the Xbox Kinect was broken long ago, and 3rd party drivers are available, allowing you to use it on your PC, however the lack of direct MS support means if you screw the pooch, they are gonna tell you "Nope, nothing doing. Buy the proper one next time."

May 13, 2012 - I had this on my Tablet for Windows 7 before installing Windows 8... Can't remember the name, was contained in Windows Live package or Windows 7 Touch Utilities...not sure which of them, but it's made by Microsoft.

Apr 26, 2012 - Wow. No, wait. I meant to say useless. Look at the first 3d city bit. Made me feel motion sick. What if you wanted to zoom in, and just look at it? Do you have to hold your hands up in the zoomed in position constantly? If you want to write with your finger on the screen, or wave some pictures around on the screen with one of your friends you are sorted. On Xbox360 I can see the point. Not on PC. Early days though. Early days. My office will be getting me to type with one next... ha!
