starwarsboy7705 Says:

May 26, 2012 - the main character is Qui Gon Jinn man.

starwarsboy7705 Says:

May 26, 2012 - dude the characterization is easy to do Qui Gon- wise, fatherly, he does things his own way and doesn't always follow the Jedi code. But he does make questionable decisions, but they are crucial to the entire saga, like when he made a bet to to free Anakin, and cheated to win the cube toss, if hadn't done that Anakin would not had been free, and we wouldn't have our chosen one. Padme- brave, strong, confident, has the qualities of a leader, politicalgenerous.

May 25, 2012 - I find it hilarious how people take the reviewer's style seriously. He obviously made the video in a sarcastic style. If you go to redlettermedia.cm look up half in the bag. The guy has a completly normal voice. The voice and the reviewers sarcastic comments and stories are included for entertainment. Have you noticed the length of the review? Its put there to be funny and entertaining so we dont have to sit though a super long review that has no entertainment value.

superhamzah85 Says:

May 25, 2012 - Because for most of the movie she's not Queen Amidala she's Padme. And the teaser poster had Anakin on it. What journey did she go on, she started a Queen, ended a Queen...and did some monotone stuff inbetween.

eazzzzzye Says:

May 25, 2012 - can't you speak properly?

DanielWilliamClark Says:

May 25, 2012 - Reserved as in she doesn't show much emotion; she keeps a lot of it inside (or at least until no one is looking). She's a bit naive because puts her trust in people of power who are more experienced, even if they seem sketchy (remember, she's just a teenager at this point). Palpatine being a huge example, and to a lesser degree, Qui-Gon Jinn.

superhamzah85 Says:

May 25, 2012 - I have officially now watched these reviews more than the films. I'm almost thankful for the prequels now - we wouldn't have Plinkett otherwise. Ironically....the bashing is so beautiful it now justifies their creation.

CrimsonFlameRTR Says:

May 25, 2012 - How it the main character of this movie NOT Queen Amidala?

Absortus Says:

May 25, 2012 - We don't really see some of those in the movie. Reserved and naive, where did you get that?

Absortus Says:

May 25, 2012 - All movies got their problems, that is right, but the point would be: how do these problems make the movies look/feel. If there is something that makes the movie feel/look/whatever bad, boring, fake, etc. Then it's a big deal. If there is a problem but the movie still feels/look/whatever good, exciting, real, etc. Then, no big deal. Got it?

DanielWilliamClark Says:

May 25, 2012 - I can describe Queen Amidala with the conditions given: She is reserved, kind, a bit naive, but also very brave when you wouldn't expect her to be. She puts the needs of others before her own. Now for Qui-Gon Jinn: He's a seasoned, all business, sort of a "been there, done that" type. He's wise, but sometimes makes questionable decisions, the kind that shape the rest of the saga.

xmasterfunk Says:

May 25, 2012 - I'm seriously not trying to be mean here, but what is your age. Because i remember this movie came out when i was in 8th grade and i loved the shit out of it, and thought the originals were boring. But now that i'm a little older I understand the originals and realize how amazing the message and feeling they give people, and re-watched the prequels, and realized how terrible they were.

halo6534 Says:

May 24, 2012 - The phantom menace was so poorly written, that it took me 5 years to realize it was the story about darth vadar as a kid. This review made me realize what a shit movie it really was, seemed so awesome as a kid, but nowadays the movie is Hollywood garbage.

Fenderboy771 Says:

May 24, 2012 - This reviewer needs some help with his voice. It's getting annoying. Great review though.

LaccaTony Says:

May 24, 2012 - Its perfectly fine to like the prequels, but do not let your bad taste confuse you into thinking that the originals have the same problems as the prequels.

ThoseDamnMonkeys Says:

May 24, 2012 - 4 million well deserved views.

DrumSurfingRulez Says:

May 23, 2012 - i thought it was disappointing and a bit boring, but it was star wars and i liked it

boredguy52 Says:

May 23, 2012 - Qui-Gon's only character trait is that he is a maverick. He does things in ways Jedi shouldn't always do them. He kinda does things his own way just to get things done however he wants them. but this trait is not easy to pick out until you examine his methods (which is analyzed later in this review). Even so, the fact that he only has one major character trait shows how pitifully the character was written.

darthmaul446 Says:

May 23, 2012 - i liked it, sue me

LaccaTony Says:

May 23, 2012 - Ah, the classic fallback argument for every stupid pro-prequel fan. This time you added the little retarded twist that every movie is as bad as the prequels. You all like to say that the originals have the same problems as the prequels, but none of you have ever pointed out 1 that could be held up against scrutiny.

dragonforks93 Says:

May 23, 2012 - Btw, you never actually answered my question, only dodged it with another question, so you have no right to dismiss any of my arguments. Just saiyan :3

LaccaTony Says:

May 23, 2012 - Other than the terrible script, the bland characters, and the over abundance of CGI, the main problem with the prequels is the prophecy, and the ridiculous idea that Anakin is the chosen one, that he is some mythical being created by the force. The prequels should have started and ended with Obi-Wan Kenobi.

king69king1 Says:

May 23, 2012 - Fucking asshole
