Dec 19, 2011 - I adopted my kitties from a shelter and I still cannot understand why anyone would ever give my kitties up for adoption. My kitties are sssooooooooo awesome. I eventually stopped wondering where they came from / why someone gave them up and instead just feel lucky that I found them.

I've had some truly emotional experiences like when I got my collie- he was sick, starved, filthy and they were gonna put him down only a few days later. And he turned out to be the most intelligent, affectionate animal I've ever owned. And two... I have no idea how anyone could call you ugly. For the record (and at the risk of sounding creepy) I've had a crush on you forever! You're adorable! Ignore the trolls.

Dec 19, 2011 - I got one of my kittens at a similar event when a local shelter brought a bunch of cats. It was hard to pick one but the one we ended up getting just fell asleep right by me. I agree all cats/dogs/whatever should have homes and people need to learn how happy animals can make them.
