A cancer cure would be worth many billions of dollars and since people would still get cancer, it would create endless revenue, there would still be plenty of other disease so researchers would still have jobs and whoever discovered it would be rightly revered and immortalised.

Feb 27, 2012 - i don't give to charity, i give to individuals when i know it makes a diffrence. it doesn't make me feel good coz when the goal is achieved they'll kill me off. still i know i helped not only them but a family and a community. i've also been a fundraiser for amnesty international but i quit as soon as i realized that i was costing more than i raised. now my only charity is me. just an atheist trying to survive now.

The entire concept of "help by money" is result of capitalism and consumerism,because it narrows the mind of people to "Money helps!",well...money is just a piece of exchange paper,it does not actually support anything or change anything-So want to help?
