Apr 22, 2012 - Actually, if they want my organs, they can pay my family for them. Do the doctors and hospitals donate their work? No, they make a ton of money, so my written instructions are to sell them or bury them. And what if you're on the table struggling to live and they find out you're an organ donor? Suddenly, you're worth more DEAD than alive to these fiends. OOPS! The patient died; we did all we could. So sorry....
Mar 24, 2012 - @thatonefranky Being a nurse, you should be thinking like a scientist. Medicine is, after all, a soft science. As such, merely because you, one member of the medical profession, has not witnessed any wrongdoing in your limited experiences does not mean that organ-donation murders are not an en masse problem. I suggest that you read some of the anonymous posts from other medical professionals in their chat rooms. Trust me, if you sign up for organ donation, you are more likely to be MURDERED!

Feb 15, 2011 - Respect to you man. People said I was brave when I donated. Was I heck. It was my duty as a big Brother to do what I had to do to save Baby Sister. Glad you saved your Sister. Even with only one lung I'm sure you are breathing easier than you would have with two lungs had she died. RESPECT TO YOU
Feb 10, 2011 - hey man. my sister had lung cancer, and she was unable to live with one lung, but i was able to because my body is a full grown adult, i now breathe with one lung, and still have a bit difficulties with it , but you and i did it for a better reason.. i did it for my baby sister to live.. it was either, i gave it to her, or she sat dying, and probably would of died, waiting on a list for an actual donor..

Oct 23, 2010 - So your not going to donate your organs because of a couple of cases. As a healthcare professional you must surely think the opposite from seeing the many more people who DO benefit from a transplant and go on to look after it.
Oct 23, 2010 - Great video. But, who is to say the person seeking the organ would have got the car crash victim's organ, or that the person seeking the organ got it from another source. In the UK, doctors can't just give kidneys to who they want, it has to go through the organ donor register, don't know about the US. But do donate, I received a kidney 4 months ago, changed my life.
Sep 21, 2010 - I used to tell my loved ones to donate everything they can should something happen to me. That was until I started a career in healthcare. With the organ shortage being what it is, I was very shocked to see that one of my patients attempted suicide and taken 90 tylenol. She received a new liver and told me she was not happy. Another patient just received a new liver and said he felt like a new man. One of the nurses caught his wife bringing liquer in the hospital.
