Global warming referes to the atmospheric oceanic & average warming worldwide. Not to winter-time in Ukraine. By the way, there have been winters in Ukraine with -40 °C. BBC is just lookgin for some "news". There is more people starving because of drought and flooding than freezing to death. Look at the figures.

Feb 20, 2012 - No "arctic" conditions where I live. And I'm living in the heart of europe. BBC talks about eastern europe. Its cold there every year. Thats normal. Its only that there are some news about it that makes it "abnormal".
